What Is the Difference Between Indica & Sativa?

Recreational marijuana is fairly new to Michigan, and we’re noticing one question on all our customers’ minds.

Get the Lowdown

Changing laws leads to many questions the public has about our industry. One of the leading queries people have is the difference between indicas, sativas, and hybrids.

Sativa gives you that energetic “up” feeling you get while moving. You might feel an urge to clean the house or dance in euphoria without sending your heart racing like extensive cardio.

Indica won’t put you to sleep right away, but it’s usually a relaxing downer. Here’s a good way to remember the strain — indica = in da couch.

Hybrid is right in the middle. Hybrids are special to each person, which is difficult to describe without the guidance of a budtender. It all depends on the flower and the experience you’re used to, and what you want to achieve (or not achieve!).
